Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

“I’m happy to share that I’ve expanded my practice to include Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in partnership with Journey Clinical. KAP is a modality in which ketamine is used medicinally as a complement to psychotherapy to help eligible patients. Ketamine has been shown to enhance overall neuroplacticity. By pairing it with other modalities, such as EMDR and Brainspotting, we gain the potential to accelerate our work to get long-lasting, and often permanent, results.

How does this all work, and is it safe?

I take on the psychotherapy part of our work, while Journey Clinical’s medical team supports you on all medical aspects of the treatment. When you are doing KAP with me, you have the full Journey Clinical medical team making your treatment safe and effective. The medical team takes this very seriously and gets regular reports from me regarding the ketamine part of your treatment.

This degree of medical oversight isn’t found in other clinics, and is the reason I feel confident using this modality.”

KAP* Crew

KAP Crew is a structured program that provides Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in a supportive group setting. The Crew follows a pre-determined treatment model designed to guide members through a shared therapeutic journey.

While every individual’s feelings and experiences are unique—even among those who have gone through similar situations—joining the Crew means becoming part of a team. Members often relate to one another through shared emotions or life experiences, creating a sense of connection and mutual support.

As part of the program, all participants are required to complete a medical consultation with the Journey Clinical medical team. If you are determined to be an appropriate candidate for KAP, you will coordinate directly with the medical team to order your prescription.

*KAP- Ketamine assisted KAP treatment consists of 2 parts: medical treatment and psychotherapy.

**Journey Clinical-provides an in-house medical team that supports patients on all medical aspects of KAP, while licensed psychotherapists provide the psychotherapy. In-Sight partners with Journey Clinical to provide the highest quality KAP therapy.
